Hover Background Gallery for Elementor

Installation of plugin
Follow the steps below to install via WordPress.
- Navigate to “Plugins > Add New”.
- Click on “Upload Plugin”.
- Navigate to find the “hover-bg-gallery.zip” file on your computer and click “Install Now” button.
- The plugin will be uploaded and installed.
- Activate the newly installed plugin. Go to “Plugins > Installed plugins” and activate the installed plugin.
- Log into your hosting space via an FTP software
- Unzip the
hover-bg-gallery.zipfile and ONLY use the extracted hover-bg-gallery folder - Upload the extracted hover-bg-gallery folder into
/wp-content/plugins/in your WordPress installation - Activate the newly installed plugin. Go to “Plugins > Installed plugins” and activate the installed plugin.
Adding gallery images
Add all of the gallery images from media or upload images to add.
Select thumb image
Select any size available in the dropdown.
Select image attachment type
Background image can be set as scroll or fixed or others, which are available.
Set background image position
You can select background image position.
Settings - Set minimum height
By enabling “Gallery minimum height” to “yes”, minimum height of the gallery can be set. Leave empty and disable this to make the height auto.
Settings - Set grid gap
Set grid image gap. Default gap is 50px.
Settings - Set images per row
Set number of images per row. 4 images to be shown by default. Any number from 2-5 can be set.
Settings - Set image opacity
Set image opacity on mouse over. Default opacity is 0.2.
Style - Set hover transition color
Set hover transition color. Default color is white (#ffffff).
Style - Set image box shadow
Image box shadow can be set to recognize image position when opacity is set to zero.
